My trading journey began in the late 1980s during the Japanese stock market boom, when I first caught the trading bug.
I immersed myself in everything I could find about the markets and began a long learning journey. Like many traders, I experienced periods of success followed by disappointment.
Over time, I discovered something important: many of the trading principles I had studied were simply too subjective to apply consistently in real time.
So I began developing, testing, and refining my own rule-based strategies.
The result was a fundamental change in the way I approached trading — replacing subjective decision-making with a structured process built around clearly defined rules, risk management, and disciplined execution.
That experience ultimately led to the development of NextWave Trading Academy.
